Full description
This sterling silver necklace is handmade using a 1966 one shilling ex-circulated coin (also know as one bob). This coin features Queen Elizabeth II in her youth on one side, with the tails side showing three leopards within shield, showing this to be an English version of the coin.
The shilling measures 22mm in diameter and has been sterilised and lightly cleaned to remove surface dirt. It is strung on an 18inch sterling silver snake chain, stamped 925. The charm attached is made of a faceted clear teardrop crystal and an AA quality ivory freshwater rice pearl, which hangs separately to the coin with a sterling silver pinch bail and jump ring.
This item would make a perfect gift for anyone turning 50 this year or celebrating a 50th anniversary.
