A pretty and functional set of four coasters, crocheted from a cotton knitting ribbon over a 'yarn' core cut from up-cycled cotton jersey fabric.
A green yarn was cut from recycled, cotton jersey fabric (typically used for T-shirts). A knitted ribbon type knitting yarn was worked in a coil of double crochet, each stitch worked over the core of cotton jersey yarn. This technique gives a pretty effect and a practical thickness to the coasters.
The coasters may be machine washed at 40 degrees. I suggest a short, gentle cycle. Reshape whilst damp and dry flat in a warm place - do not tumble dry.
This item is posted First Class in the UK free of P&P charge.
This is a set of four coasters each approximately 10.5 cm in diameter. They will be presented on a card in two sets of two for posting (in order to meet the dimension restrictions of the Large Letter category).
