Handspun yarn 100% soy silk
"Antique Rose"
Handspun in the Cotswolds. Amount: not less than 325 yards / 110g over two skeins. Knits to roughly 3 ply weight.
Soy silk is a by-product of the soya bean harvest. This soy fibre was dyed by me using acid dyes. Some colour transfer may occur. Soy yarn has very little "memory" so is not suitable for making any item that needs to stretch and/or reform. Soy silk yarn is suitable for shawls, as it has a wonderful drape. It would also make a very special baby outfit.
As is often the case, monitor and digital colours may vary. This yarn is a pale dusky rose pink with pale green pistachio highlights.
