Pearl the cat is painted on to a scalloped wooden oval. The oval measures 8.9 cm x 10.9 cm and the wood is 3 mm thick.
She is wearing a headband of Summer flowers and a saffron-yellow poncho.

The painting has been varnished, and has a hook on the back so that it's ready for hanging.
