This design was inspired by a pattern in Craftseller magazine. The bee and beehive motifs called out to me and a bee-themed wall hanging was added to my 'to-make' list. Not surprising, as I have always enjoyed doodling little bees and beekeeping is something that I would love to try my hand at.

Full description
Three bees are busy buzzing to and from their hive in this delightful embroidery hoop decoration. I love the rich honey colour of the beehive, a reminder of what all those busy bees do for us!
The bees, flowers and hive are all hand cut from felt and hand appliquéd onto the cotton backing. The back of the hoop has been finished with a felt circle.
The embroidery hoop measures 8.5 inches (22cm).
