Ive realised there are 2 crafts I will never get tired of, sewing and soldering.
So I have incorporated soldering into a new idea of jewellery pendants.
I have used layers of glass to create this dimensional pendant.
The background has pink dots and text saying tea and beverage, and on another layer there is a vintage cup of tea. All have been surrounded by copper foil tape which I have soldered around using lead free silver solder.
I have attached a lilac coloured wax cord to compliment the pink colours in the pendant and I have made a macrame fastening with buttons so it can be made to any length you like.
The pendant measures approx 1"x1". The necklace slides to 56cm or 22" which can fit over an adults head, each end can be pulled to make the cord into a choker style necklace.
If you are a tea fan or know somebody who is, this could be an ideal accessory or gift.
