Double initials - IG as example - handpainted in dark green with oak leaves, acorns and snowdrops on watercolour paper, framed within a double mount with a 3mm dark green slip.

Custom idea - the date of a Wedding or Anniversary could be written below if requested. Equally I could substitute the snowdrops with another flower of your choice - send me a message before ordering if you would like to discuss anything beforehand

Green is the mystic colour - made from blue and yellow, for heaven and earth.
It is the colour of Venus and Mercury, Spring; Gladness; Nature; Paradise and Peace.
In Oriental mythology it is the same as blue, representing Spring; the East; wood and water and in Celtic lore is the colour of Bridget, the Earth goddess.
Snowdrops also represent the Spring and new beginnings but need not be included if requested.

Finished size will be125 x 175mm or 5 x 7" including the mount and your item will be sent with a backing board of the same size, and be packed in several more layers of board to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Painted for someone who wasn't a flower person but loved trees and the Spring, which is why I have included the snowdrops.

Let me know if you would prefer another flower painted with the oak leaves and acorns and we can decide on what might look the best - eg for colours.

Also I could write a date beneath the letters to mark an occasion, Wedding or Anniversary or otherwise.
