Sunflower are such show off kind of flowers that you cant ignore them
Yellow is my favourite colour so I love working with these yellow silk and organzas
I work with recycled silk scarves bought from my local charity shops and the yellow scarf I found in my rummaging cried out sunflower to me!

Full description
This bright sunflower was designed and made by myself from recycled silk scarves.
I placed layers of silk onto a cotton backing and then free machine embroidered onto this to create depth and texture
The picture was then framed with black cotton and then stretched onto an artists canvas
Ready to hang on the wall.
Size of canvas 8" x 8" (20.5cm x 20.5cm)
