Full description
A colourful summer accessory, this 100% cotton open stitch bag is a modern take on the classic string bag. The mesh bag is based on a by design by Jo Bodley. I've made the bag to have a solid base, then a squared body and finally two handles; one attached to each side of the bag. The mesh-like fabric has been complemented with a contrasting ribbon and purple crochet bow detail. The size (23 x 26 cm) is versatile for a number of uses and would look great at the beach or as a smart alternative to the classic string bag.
For cleaning, I recommend hand or gentle machine wash. Gently reshape whilst damp.
