The idea came from the sun setting through a nearby woodland, with the trees outlined by the colours of the sunset.
I love rich colours and this sunset was ideal for the rich silk fabrics I use.
The fabrics glisten and glow in the light.

Full description
An original design made by myself from recycled silk and organza scarves, purchased from my local charity shops
I place layers of silk on a cotton backing and free machine embroidery over the silk to create texture
The piece was then framed with recycled black fabric
The piece was then stretched onto an artists canvas and so is ready to hang
SIZE 20cm x 20cm frame
I will ship to rest of world on request
