I love to use recycled fabrics and papers in my art. I often use old book pages, sewing patterns and maps, giving a new lease of life to unwanted items.

Full description
A handmade collage created with fabric and paper (old sewing patterns and handmade papers) which have been appliqued onto calico. Completely hand stitched and embroidered.
The picture shows a little cake shop with a table and chair outside. The sign reads 'Patisserie' and on the door 'open'.
I have created each cake individually and sewn them into the collage by hand. The leaves on the bushes have been hand embroidered. The table and chairs have been created with lace and embroidery.
Size approx. 11" x 8" (27cm x 20cm) an additional calico border has been left to allow for framing.
This picture is sold unframed.
The picture is sealed in a cello bag and will be posted in a board backed envelope, by 1st class Royal Mail postage (UK) and standard airmail elsewhere, within 3 days of payment.
