I am inspired by everything natural and organic – especially close up surfaces such as tree bark, rocks, and plants. Whilst concealed amongst these natural surroundings in the landscape, I feel relaxed and at home. I find it amazing to see the changes in rocks and coves caused by weathering and erosion from the sea, bumpy and colourful linear patterns found within fields and hills, and the surfaces in nature where no two marks are ever the same – it is this particular aspect that my ceramics connects to. You will find collections of my work ranging from dandelions to clouds, and leaves to frozen lakes.

Full description
Ceramic bowl/dish in the shape of a heart with a textured oak impressed pattern on the surface, handmade with love in my studio. Recycled burgundy coloured glass has melted and pooled in the centre of the dish.
Approx 14cm diameter.
This dish would make a pretty soap dish, trinket bowl for jewellery or other items, a tea light candle holder or would look equally gorgeous displayed in the centre of a coffee table.
A lovely gift idea or even a treat for yourself!
