Many people like a nice cup of tea. So whether it's Earl Grey, Assam, Green, Fruit or just a standard tea-bag version - why not have a special tea coaster to put your mug or cup on.

Being a bit of a science geek, I liked the idea of having the different chemical structures on the coasters. In this case, Flavan-3-ol is one of the tannins which gives tea it's bitter taste.

Each coaster is laser cut from birch ply. then finished with varnish to make it heat/scratch and water resistant. The reverse is finished with cork backing to help protect the surface it sits on.

Perfect for any room in the house or even as an added extra to the desk of any science teacher/student. Please remember to not eat or drink in the Lab - it's just common sense.
