Wildflower-rich hay meadows in June and early July are a thing of beauty. In this original linocut print I stylised Yellow Rattle, Red Clover, vetches buttercups and meadow grasses to convey the Kettlewell Meadows. The backdrop is the profile of the limestone escarpment that sits between Upper Wharfedale and Littondale, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Printed by hand using a victorian book press and signed by the artist.
This is a limited edition print run of 50.
Single colour print on quality hot pressed paper.
Each print is unique.

Mounted and unframed.
Size of printed area 21.5cm x 21.5cm
Size of mounted print 34.7cm x 36.3cm.

The mounted print is supplied protected by clear cellophane and packaged with bubble wrap.

Wildflower-rich hay meadows are at their best for such a short time, late June to mid July, during that time they transform the valley bottoms. Its great that there is a network of footpaths so we can enjoy walking through the heart of these meadows.
