I’m back on Folksy for 2024.
Inspired by Scandinavian decorative detail. Each slab built vessel is decorated with a variety of impressed marks. I enjoy the process of applying the decoration and I allow this lead me in a slightly different direction on each piece.

Full description
A stoneware ceramic vase with with impressed details. The clay I use fires off white and has small specks of white grog in the body making it quite robust. Outside is glazed in a dry turquoise glaze which highlights the raised decoration, inside there is a clear shiny glaze to make cleaning easier.
The vase is lovely for displaying flowers, but is also great for bunches of cut herbs in the kitchen.
The vase is 16cm high by 7cm wide.
