Letterpress printed things are special. Each impression is slightly different from every other one and the finished product appealing visually and to the touch. I love the process and the product…I hope you like it too.

Full description

Eight letterpress printed mini bee notecards. Each card is approximately 74mm wide by 104mm tall, smaller than an average card and left blank inside for your own message.

These cards are made from off-white 100% recycled card with a slight surface texture. They come with brown ribbed envelopes.

They have been letterpress printed in black ink with a bumble bee, an image from an old printing block. They are blank on the inside for your own message.

The cards come in a sturdy 125mm square board box (kraft brown on the outside and white on the inside) inside which they are wrapped in tissue paper to protect them. There is an example of the card on the front to the box.

The letterpress process (inking the type for each and every card and hand-feeding the cards one at a time into the press) makes each card a tiny little bit different from all the others in the same print run. I think this is part of the charm of prints produced this way.

I am obsessive about all things paper-related and that includes packaging materials, I take a lot of care wrapping your purchases before I take them to the post office to make sure they get to you in pristine condition.

This listing is for the cards and envelopes...the pens, pencils and other bits and pieces in the pictures to show the scale of the cards are not for sale.
