These earrings are so feminine and would make the perfect gift for any lady.
I have created these simple studs from unusual fantasy cut oval Amethyst gemstones that have a feminine purple colour. These gems have been rose cut on the top, into a gentle dome and have been cut into a star facet underneath with alternating high polished and matt sections which give an amazing effect when viewed from above.
I have set them into sterling silver cast basket settings with four claws to hold each stone securely and then mounted them onto post and butterfly fitments. The earrings have then been polished and finished by hand. The butterfly backs are stamped 925 for sterling silver.
The stones each measure 8 x 6 mm approx. making them noticeable when worn and a great choice for everyday wear.
I have a matching pendant, set with a larger stone, so please ask for details or have a peek at my other listings.
These unusual stones are very hard to source. These stones and the one in the matching pendant are all I have of this material.
