A beautiful felted tote bag with flower detail measuring approximately 14.5" (37cm) across the top x 14" (36cm) high with a rectangular base measuring 11" (28cm) x 3.5" (9cm)
Ideal for everyday use or for that special occasion. This bag has been felted using a nuno felting technique. Natural dark grey Jacob wool has been felted onto a cotton muslin basel. A medium weight interfacing has been applied to the resulting fabric to add strength and stability and the bag has been lined with cream calico cotton fabric. All structural seams have been double stitched to give added strength. On one side of the bag needle felted flowers in pink and purple shades with acrylic bead centres have been added as decoration. A removable card base covered in the lining fabric has been added to help prevent sagging of the bag if heavy items are placed in it.
