A beautiful felted handbag, grey with poppies, measuring approximately 9"(23cm) height x 13"(32cm) across the top with a flat rectangular base measuring 3"(7.5cm) x 10"(25cm).

Ideal for everyday use or for that special occasion.
The bag has been felted using a nuno felting technique. Grey jacob wool has been felted onto a cotton muslin base and five bright red poppies have been added to either side of the bag. A medium weight interfacing has been applied to the resulting fabric to add strength and stability and the bag has been lined with cream coloured calico cotton fabric. A grey coloured zip has been added to provide closure of the bag. I have included a removable base card covered in the lining fabric to reinforce the bag and stop the base from sagging if heavy items are placed in the bag.
A lovely item that would make a perfect gift for valentines day, mothers day, anniversary, birthday or just because.....
