I designed this on a miserable wet day when I thought I would cheer myself up with a memory of the beach at Le Crotoy, France where I had a lovely walk in beautiful sunshine only 16 days before.

This is a stained glass suncatcher, an angel, made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

A brand new design in autumn 2014. A sweet little beach hut.

I've made this from 3 types of bright blue glass and some streaky white and I've added a little triangular window above the door in clear iridescent textured glass.

On top of the peaked roof a bright red flag is flying and this is altogether a very cheerful piece of glass.

The beach hut is 12 cm high, 9 cm wide..

This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.

Photo 5 shows four possible colour schemes for this design but I am happy to make any colour you like - please message me.
