A felted handbag in lilac with pretty daisy embellishment.
Get set for spring and summer with this gorgeous lilac felted handbag. Made using a nuno felting technique, lilac NZ perendale wool overlaid with white silk fibres has been felted onto cotton muslin and fashioned into this handbag. It is lined with pale purple polycotton fabric and has five pretty daisies sewn to the front. Medium weight interfacing adds structure to the bag preserving its shape, and a card base covered in lining fabric prevents sagging of the bag if heavy items are placed in it. The bag measures 13.5"(34cm) across the top with a height of 13.5"(24cm) and a rectangular base measuring 9.5"(24cm) x 4"(10cm).
