I wanted to give a totally unused skirt a new purpose. The bulk of the skirt was used to make a lovely small wool handbag which has been sold. I decided that purses were the ideal accessory to make from the left over fabric.

Full description
This lovely wool purse used to be a skirt. Unloved and unworn it's now been given a new lease of life! The pale grey wool has a lovely feel to it and I've teamed it up with a cotton lining in a small floral print.
I've hand stitched on the flower which was hand felted in Nepal. I've also hand embroidered a few leaves in a lovely fresh green.
At 6" by 5" there's plenty of room for your coins and notes (it will accommodate a few cards too!).
