a totally unique and hand painted mug made by me, from scratch, in South Norfolk. I hand cast these mugs, high earthen ware fire them and totally hand paint each design onto the bisque. As a result you can feel the painting under the glaze and feel the washing line tied to the handle. Each one of my pieces is unique and totally produced by me. I use food safe underglaze colours and lead free glaze and fire to high earthen ware temperatures in my studio.

This mug is 10.5 cm high and 8.5 cm across and is a lovely shape - one of our favourites at home. It will accommodate 3/4 of your favourite beverage. I back stamp and initial each piece, this design is entitled "blow your socks off" and comes with an artist info and care tag, tied to the handle with jute string.

This piece will come to you wrapped in tissue, cossetted in recycled bubble wrap (lovingly gathered by my wombling parents) and in a preloved box - wherever possible. I use first class recorded delivery.

That stray sock is of course on the inside of the mug!
