A variation on a theme. My colourful poppy scarf has been very popular but not suitable to everyones colour scheme. I made this scarf for those who prefer monochrome to colour.

Full description
An amazingly soft and light but still warm nuno felted scarf. Using black NZ Perendale wool on a cream coloured silk chiffon base this scarf has been made using a nuno felting technique whereby the wool fibres migrate through the silk fabric and bind with it. Five large white poppies have been added using merino wool on either end of the scarf. The scarf has been felted on one side only leaving the silk visible on the reverse surface. Shrinkage of the wool during the felting process creates a lovely textured, crinkled effect to the silk. Tassels have also been added to the ends of the scarf.
The scarf measures approximately 160cm (including tassels) x 43cm
Super soft and feather light. Ideal for any occasion, casual or formal, summer or winter. An ideal gift for any occasion, valentines, mothers day, birthday, anniversary, christmas or just because.
Hand wash in cool water, do not wring, reshape while wet and cool iron.
