The inspiration came from the blacksmith's nails themselves - I made a story up in my head first and this was the result !

Full description
This is the Mouse that resides at the Blacksmith's shop.......
He is made from coffee dyed ticking with embroidered features, linen whiskers, a felt and rusty safety pin hat and hand made blacksmith nail legs . He has then been attached to a piece of driftwood so that he stands without a prop. His tail is jute with a rusty bell attached (you will hear him in the night when he scurries back to the shop ) !
He is about 15cms long and about 12 cms. tall.
He is for decorative purposes only.
