Full description
An atmospheric, applique, embroidered landscape - featuring a tree with catkins, daffodils and tiny sheep, decorates this pretty brooch. .
The background of this brooch has been created by appliqueing an assortment of fabric scraps to a fleece fabric background. The fabrics have been arranged to compose a patchwork of fields. Details of the composition have been added by hand embroidery. The sheep are stitched in vintage linen floss.
Couching, over a twist of fancy yarn in meadow shades, frames the design.
The brooch is stiffened by plastic cut from a recycled bottle over which the embroidered fleece is stretched. The back of the brooch is neatened with commercial felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place.

Width - 7 cm approx.
Items of embroidered jewellery may not be colourfast - care should be taken to remove them from clothing before washing.
