Full description
These completely handmade sterling silver rings have a unique distressed organic texture on the front and sides. I have also oxidised the silver to give it a grey tone which really adds to the rugged look! Made from recycled sterling silver they are a great choice as eco friendly unisex wedding bands. The irregular lines and indents create lots of interesting textures. To get this texture I hammer them on a natural rough stone to transfer an organic imprint, then I polish them to enhance the effect. I like the idea that these look as though they have been formed naturally from molten rock, maybe forged in the depths of a volacano! The rings come in a variety of widths, these photos show 4mm. They are all 1.2mm thick unless otherwise requested and flat on the top and bottom with rounded edges for extra comfort.
Bear in mind that the oxidised finish of these rings is not permanent and will gradually fade over time as it is just a patina given to the surface of the metal. The indents in this style will hold the colour for longer, I think this just adds to the character as each ring will age differently.
Kindly note that I make every ring individually by hand so there will be slight variations.
