4 Handmade WHITBY/ROBIN HOODS BAY & STAITHES Handmade art cards titled by hand by artist & printmaker Clare Caulfield
From a series of work taken from one of my original Drypoint & Chine-Colle prints, capturing the rugged beauty and charm of North Yorkshire’s much loved coastal towns: Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes.
This listing is for a set of 4 Handmade Cards featuring images of these Yorkshire scenes:
'WHITBY ROOFTOPS' View standing on the iconic 199 steps looking down across the colourful rooftops and chimney pots of the old town
'STAITHES' Staithes is a charming small fishing village. Its cobbled streets, narrow alleyways, colourful roof tops & houses, and fishing boats moored in the beck are a big inspiration for my work!
'ROBIN HOODS BAY' Another very popular and picturesque fishing village, Robin Hood’s Bay is well know for it's quaint red-roofed cottages perched on the side of the cliff.
'WHITBY HARBOUR' View of the 199 steps which lead up to St Marys Parish Church and the ruins of Whitby Abbey.
Each card is titled in pencil on the front by myself
These handmade cards are made using quality 300gsm cream card and also 120gsm high resolution coated matt paper. They are each suppiled with a cream envelope in a cello bag.
The reverse of each card also features a small illustration as shown in the photographs.
Each card measures 10.5 x 21 cm (4.1 x 8.2")
