This silver plated hair grip / bobby pin measures approximately 5.5cm long including the decal.

Made using an 1887 edition of All's Well That Ends Well by William Shakespeare.

These hair adornments are lightweight due to the use of a resin decal covering rather than glass which helps stop them sliding down in fine hair.

I first made a hair pin like this for myself with a tiny rectangle of text reading ACT ONE from a Shakespeare play. After many compliments I began to experiment with cutting tiny images from books and similar visual options and these became my main ranges. Recently I was asked for a Shakespeare themed pin and remembered my own favourite first hair pin so I'm starting to make a few similar designs for other fans of the bard to enjoy.
