I really enjoy working with ink on acetate though you can never predict the end results as the ink spreads of it's own accord, I love the challenge in 'taming' the ink to create beautiful artworks

Full description
I have created this vibrant abstract ink art daffodil coaster with alcohol inks, fine glitter, metal leaf and clear acrylic gel. The artwork is set into an acrylic casement. Size 4 x 4 inches.
To achieve the 'backlit' or 3D effect the images are created by dropping ink onto acetate. Ink used in this way can be very delicate to work with so my work is painted in reverse onto acetate and the finished image is then sandwiched between the laminate and a sheet of plain white card to protect it.
I generally only ever create one of each design/colour, and all my designs are my own, usually based on my interpretation of places I have visited, or things I love so you can be sure of owning a truly unique item.
All of my artwork is original (not prints) and one of a kind.
All items are made and stored in a non smoking and pet free home.
