This lovely ring is one of a series I've made to try out some new texturing hammers. It ihas been hand cut from 1mm thick copper sheet and is approximately 7mm wide. It has been textured by striking it with a hammer that has a criss-cross surface and creates a pattern of diamond shapes. The top and bottom edges were then flared outwards giving it an anticlastic form. The ring weighs 2.8g and its size is approximately N, but as it is an open ring it can easily be adjusted to fit sizes in the range K-Q. It has been tumble-polished to a high shine. I can coat it with metal lacquer to reduce tarnishing or treat it with an oxidising agent to create a vintage-style patina if you prefer. Add a note to your order if you would like either of these options.
Your ring will be packaged in a smart gift box or organza bag and despatched in the UK by Royal Mail first-class delivery.
