Full description
Made from locally grown Winter Flowering Cherry that has been seasoned and allowed to dry naturally for a few years before turning, this apple-shaped jewellery box is ideal for holding rings and other fine jewellery pieces but would look equally good as a display piece.
After turning I have sanded the box perfectly smooth, sealed it and then used wax inside and out before buffing the box to a beautiful sheen. The stalk of the apple which serves as a knob to lift the top of the box off is turned from Elm.
