Full description
This listing is for one of these mini notebooks, which have been created using traditional bookbinding methods. all papers are cut and folded by hand. I have left the spine exposed, as I think it a shame to hide this particularly attractive feature.
Rather than using traditional linen tape, I have used assorted ribbons and my hand dyed waxed linen thread. The book covers were originally shoe leather samples, and are secured with small coloured buttons and twisted linen threads.
Measurements: height 7 cm, width 7 cm and depth 2 cm ( 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" x 3/4")
Each book contains 120 pages: 10 signatures, or 60 folios (folded pages), of assorted recycled or scavenged papers.
