Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a star, a very sparkly star.
I've designed it with 8 diamond shaped points made from iridescent clear glass and at the centre a gorgeous bright twinkly turquoise glass nugget with lovely dichroic accents which I made in my fusing kiln.
The iridescent textured glass gives the star a super shimmer with hints of turquoise and pink.
For extra sparkle I've soldered 8 little silvery snowflakes between each point.
The star is 9.5cm in diameter and hangs from a strong loop of fishing line attached via a soldered wire ring to the top of the star. You can use this to hang if from a branch of your Christmas tree if you want to.
This item is totally individual. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. I can make this in different colours if you prefer. Please send me a message if you do.
You should also find several other stars for sale as separate listings. The Dichroic centres are all different and unique.
My suncatchers are for all year round, they don't need to be put away when the festive season is over.
