I love nature documentaries, if you didn't know that already. This watercolour and pen painting was inspired by a bear documentary that followed their annual feeding cycle. There was an awesome group of bears who gorged themselves before hibernation by travelling to the same lake every year. I loved the idea that their daily trip to the lake was no different to our trip to the supermarket; hence Habitat was born.
