Full description
A gorgeous light and airy but still warm scarf made from all natural materials using a blend of green shades of merino wool on a silk chiffon base with poppy detail added. The base scarf has been dyed green and dark green merino wool has been applied in a fine layer over both sides of the scarf. Five large poppies have been added to each end of the scarf. The scarf was made using a nuno felting technique which allows the wool fibres to migrate and felt through the silk. Shrinkage of the wool fibres gives a lovely "crinkled" effect to the scarf.
The scarf measures approximately 135cm x 40cm and can be worn as a scarf or shawl.
These scarves have been extremely popular and the photographs shown are representative of the scarves for sale. The colour and design are the same but the poppy placement may be slightly different.
Suitable for day or evening wear, summer or winter, casual or formal. A truly versatile accessory which would make a lovely gift for any occasion, valentines day, mothers day, birthday or just because....
Hand wash only in cool water and reshape while wet.
