Full description
Yew wood has long been prized for its beauty and rarity. This totally unique small Yew bowl has been turned from a local tree that was estimated at 800 years old. The colours are fantastic ranging from a rich orange and range of rich browns through to a rare and beautiful deep pink-mauve. Its incredibly smooth finish makes it irresistibly tactile too.
After turning and sanding, multiple treatments of finishing oil have been applied to the bowl and then it has been buffed to a high sheen
A beautiful addition to any room and perfect for holding small jewellery pieces.
