Made to order, please allow up to 10 days for me to make a dog especially for you x
Betty is made from a beautifully soft ivory coloured mohair, and is stuffed firmly in a more traditional way using a mixture of wood wool and toy stuffing. She has contrasting black mohair ears which have been gently dyed and sanded underneath (along with the underside of her feet) to add to her vintage appearance.
She has traditional amber glass eyes and is finished with a little neckerchief, which has been gently dyed to give it an aged appearance. She stands about 11.5” / 29cm tall on her old Meccano wheels, and measures about 12.5” / 32cm from her little black nose to her tail. Her ‘pull-along’ rope has a big old rusty bell attached.
Betty is one of my own designs and was stitched on my old 1920’s Singer treadle sewing machine.
