As these little trees are made from iridescent fibres, it is quite difficult to capture their iridescence in a photograph. In reality, they are much more sparkly than they appear here.

Full description
This is a felt and iridescent fibre brooch in the shape of a decorated Christmas tree.
The tree shape has been carefully cut from a sheet of fused fibres. It has then been hand-stitched (with space-dyed cotton thread) onto 2 layers of felt in contrasting colours. Embellishments of tiny glass beads have been sewn onto the tree.
To finish off I have topped the tree with an AB coated super sparkling acrylic gem. A safety brooch pin has been securely stitched to the back. The tree measures approximately 5cm high by 5cm wide.
