Growing up in the countryside in a house which had no central heating, my sisters and me always had a hot water bottle at bedtime. And now I'm all grown up,a hot water bottle is still much loved. There is nothing nicer than warm sheets.
This really is the ideal companion for bedtime, along with a cup of warm milk with perhaps a dash of apple brandy and a nice book, nothing too exciting, it is bedtime after all.

Perfect for snuggling up with in the cold winter evenings,this hot water bottle cosy is made from a vintage pure wool blanket in a lovely bright pomegranate red.
The bird applique on the front is hand stitched, including the bird's rosy little cheeks, and uses 100% pure wool felt.
Other details include yellow crocheted flowers which have been hand made.
Inside, the hot water bottle cosy is fully lined with re-cycled brushed cotton, so no inner seam edges are visible.
Designed to fit a standard hot water bottle.

If the cosy gets dirty over time, then gently hand wash and allow to dry flat. Please do not tumble as the wool will felt and the cosy will shrink.
