When it comes to food people pay more attention to where the food has come from and how far it has traveled to get here than they do with other products, like cosmetics and toiletries. Most lip balm sold on the high street is imported from abroad, and uses lots of ingredients that come from all over the world. In some cases people actively seek out the most exotic ingredients that they can find.
I started to wonder why beauty was not being viewed in the same way as food, so I decided to create a range of products which used ingredients that were predominantly grown or produced in the UK. I think that I've come up with a lip balm that can rival any of the top brands and with low beauty miles, a couple of awards and excellent reviews what's not to love?!
