At the time this Wallhanging was felted, I was lucky enough to live in Kielder, England's remotest village, where Red Squirrels visited my garden on a daily basis. On one occasion, a baby Red even wandered into my kitchen while I was felting! In my new home in Dumfries & Galloway the Red Squirrels are still here, but are less frequent visitors.

Full description
An original wet-felted wall-hanging, created from pre-dyed Merino wools laid over a background of rare-breed “Whiteface Woodland” wool, and given a gentle sprinkling of wool noils to provide texture. The finished felt has been lightly hand-embroidered with silks to define the features.
Mounted onto an acid-free cotton box canvas, 20cm x 25cm.
Your wallhanging will be wrapped in acid-free tissue for transit, and will be posted by First Class Royal Mail within 3 days of clearance of payment. Please message if you require a quote for a Tracked service.
