I'm taking a few days break by the sea to visit my sister. Please message me if you would like to reserve something.
Open as usual from 25rh April. Joy xx
I love castles and the more fairy tale they look the better.
We visited Colditz a few years ago and this has a hint of that notorious castle.

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I have made this as a fairytale castle in streaky white glass with a brown 'wooden' door, tiny sparkly clear glass windows at the top of the turrets which have pointy terracotta roofs.
I have placed the castle on a little heathery green hill and to finish it off there are two bright blue flags, flying from the top.
The castle is 12.5cm high and 9cm wide and hangs from a silvery chain securely attached via a soldered wire ring.
This looks lovely hanging in the light where it shines and would make a wonderful and unique present.
I never make two pieces exactly the same. Even from the same pattern I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
The 5th photo is of the previous castle I made to show you that though to the same pattern each is unique.
