Full description
Peacocks on the steps of a temple at dawn ... one fans out his tail feathers, which are ruffled by the light wind. This papercut was inspired by finding an old postcard showing the white peacocks at Gwydir Castle in Wales.
This ACEO (2.5 x 3.5 inches) is my own original design, it is a papercut (not a copy or print). It was cut out using a scalpel, cutting mat, paper and thin card. In this ACEO I have used narrow spacers beteween the papercut and the tinted paper background to give a slightly 3D effect. Frame is not included but please see note below.
I like to experiment with different materials, and the paper used here is actually wallpaper, it has an attractive paper texture.
It will be posted first class in a cellophane wrapper in a card backed envelope - I will use recycled packing materials whenever possible. I will aim to post within 3 days of receiving payment.
Note: Folksy shop JFT Carpentry (https://folksy.com/shops/jftcarpentry) carries a selection of handmade wooden frames, including ACEO size, and will make other sizes on request.
