Imagine yourself on a tropical sandy beach, look out across the aquamarine sea and view the vibrant rainbow as the brief cooling tropical storm is caught by the brilliant sunshine.
Nothing like a view of the seaside to brighten the window in the colder months of winter.

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A brand new new design for summer 2014 which I've christened Rainbow Beach and this is now the 8th version.
I've drawn a golden sun with rays fanning out, in the 7 colours of the rainbow, above a band of turquoise sea and below that, a golden sandy beach.
I've used lots of different textures, some iridescent so this piece has a lot of movement.
It's framed with prettily textured clear glass with a twisted wire surround for strength and neatness.
I am really pleased with this new suncatcher design. It looks super in the window with the sun casting the vibrant colours which change with the light.
This is 15 cm high by 14 cm wide and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.
It can hang in a window or just against a wall and it is would make a lovelyy colourful addition to any room.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure it is unique.
The 5th photo shows the previous one I made so you can see each is unique though to the same pattern.
