Well who doesn’t love a duck! I stopped by a pond one day and pointed my camera at a flock of ducks splashing towards me hoping to be thrown a chunk or two of stale bread. They were sorely disappointed I’m afraid but I managed to get some inspiring shots of them before their attention turned to some children just arriving with their grandparents – and a bag of stale bread!

The resulting images gave me my design – I hope you like it.

Full description

With my Mallard Duck design featuring on the front, this pretty Tea Cosy will be a beautiful addition to any kitchen.

Made from a Medium Weight Cotton fabric, lined and padded with polyester wadding to keep your tea lovely and hot. This cosy should fit a medium sized teapot (3 to 4 mugs of tea).

The design is made using the Freehand Machine Embroidery technique which involves “drawing” in thread, using the needle as your pencil, on a basic sewing machine. The resulting picture is therefore unique.
