Full description
I came up with an idea to make mini Christmas cards out of glass and solder.
I have cut pieces of glass 1.5"x 1" in size and sandwiched an image inside of a snowy, Victorian Christmas scene of people waiting to enter their church.
I have soldered it at an angle as if its on display on a mantelpiece. Inside it has a sentiment say " Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" which I have taken from a handwritten postcard I have dated 1926.
For added sparkle I have placed flecks of ab gitter on the front image. And also added ribbon so you can easily hang it from your tree.
This is a robust little decoration and will last for years to come. It would make an ideal addition to your already existing Xmas decorations, or as a gift for a friend or family member.
