Less is more with this elegant and sturdy bottle vase. It has been handmade on a potter's wheel and coated with a luxurious, white dolomite glaze. A darker glaze containing iron and manganese has been dabbed on either side and this has run in the intense heat, fusing with the glaze beneath in a rather attractive way. Something which doesn't always work so nicely!
The piece measures approx. 4.75 inches tall and just over 3 inches across the base. Carries Mark Smalley's personal seal impressed to the underside.
The vase will hold water and is suitable for displaying fresh flowers.
Postage and packing for this piece will be at a fixed cost of £3.00 for delivery withing the UK.
Designed by Mark Smalley in Cheshire, england
