These cards stem from my obsession with Breaking Bad, and my desire to make new stuff from old.
‘Just Basic Chemistry’ is said twice in the first series. Walt says it to Jesse, and Jesse says it to Badger.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

This card is totally unique, you will not find another the same.
It is also super-eco friendly, as everything used in its making has had a previous life.
I have listed this card as 'anniversary', but really it could be used for any occasion in which there is 'chemistry' between the giver and receiver.
It is made from a 1970's Albuquerque postcard book (published by Petley Studios Inc., Albuquerque, C1975).
All of the letters have been cut from old magazines and then sewn onto the vintage postcard.
The front of the card shows San Felipe de Neri Church, and the inside gives a little description of Albuquerque.
It measures 7.7cms x 9.7cms ( when folded), and comes with a sewn upcycled envelope.
The card is approximately 40 years old, so shows signs of a little wear and tear. My work comes with a history, I make no attempt to erase the blemishes left by life. I like to consider it a little piece of art.
All of my pieces are individually numbered, this is 400.
In keeping with my ethos, your purchase will arrive on your doormat in a sewn envelope, made from old magazines.
You can find out loads more on my blog (alisonsye.com), where I prattle on endlessly about the making of these cards. You can also find me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest.
If you have any questions, give me a shout,
Thanks,
Alison
