I made a series of 12 prints of Salford after making my Indian railway series - India was so bright and colourful and I had made 12 black and white prints, so I thought I'd follow this with a bright, colourful collection of prints of my bus route through Salford into Manchester city centre where I worked.

Full description

This an original hand-pulled etching with aquatint, printed on BFK acid free paper.

Edition no. 1 of 20

Print size 6"x 5" (15.5cm x 13cm)

Paper size approx. 12"x12"

This is a print of the Wellington Pub in Irlam's o' th' Height, Salford.

Each Salford print is 2 colours - I ink the plate with one colour and make a print, then re-ink with another colour (often wiping sections away) and print again over the first print.
